Rocks-Off 8 Ball Ring: Sleek Support for Your Junk

The Magic of the 8 Ball Ring

As we previously reported, Rocks-Off was kind enough to send us a box of products to check out. Inside the mystery box, among other things, was their 8 Ball ring, a dual cock-and-balls ring. The Rocks-Off site describes the 8 Ball ring as “reassuringly comfortable to wear,” and it proved to be just that, very comfortable!

The only real knock against the 8 Ball ring was, in reality, my own fault; I couldn’t figure out how to get the damn thing on correctly! It literally took me about five minutes of flipping it this way and that to finally get it the way that it should be. I felt like I was trying to untangle a knot of Christmas lights.

I eventually figured it out.

Let me say this, though: once the 8 Ball ring was on, it was ON. That thing is snug and feels AMAZING. Speaking as someone who has tried several other ring sets, I can speak to a few advantages that the 8 Ball ring has over its competitors. I’ll get to that in a moment, but first, let’s take a look at the current top selling penis rings on Amazon:

As you can see (minus the cock cage,) they’re all somewhat similar; a penis ring is a penis ring, right? Wrong! SO. WRONG.

If that was the case, why not just wrap a piece of electrical cord around your dick and call it a day?

He’s ragging on your cord, man.

There are a few elements that a good cock ring must have:

  • Made from a comfortable, durable, and rather nonporous material
  • Snug fit
  • Decent width (for comfort and/or durability)

The Competition

Going back to our “best sellers” list from Amazon, we can see that none of the top six best sellers (aside from the Tantus ring) fit all three vital characteristics of a good cock ring.

The California Exotics cock ring is made from thermoplastic rubber (TPR,) which is pretty porous and not very durable. You can buy these at any local sex shop for cheap, and for good reason: they are cheap. I’ve bought a few TPR rings over the years and none have lasted more than ten uses. They’re disposable toys.

The two offerings from MaxxFantasy are made of silicone, which seems great, on the surface, but the devil is in the details. I can speak from experience that the silicone used in the production of these rings are sub-par, at best. I’ve snapped a few of these things on my junk, and let me tell you, it’s not a great feeling (unless you’re into that sort of thing.) Now, it may just be that, though the material is good, they’re just too skinny to stand up to any real punishment. Kinda reinforces my point about the need for a cock ring of decent width.

The set from Trinity Vibes is made from a solid material, but they’re almost too inflexible; couple that with their skinny width and you’ve got a recipe for a pretty uncomfortable experience. Think back to the electrical cord analogy. Now, imagine that, instead of an electrical cord, you decide to use the cord from your phone charger.

Thanks but no thanks.

This brings us to the cock ring from Tantus, which, in all honesty, really does seem to be a good product.

Tantus uses quality silicone in their products and the dimensions of their cock ring seem like it would make for a comfy experience. In fact, the only thing that the 8 Ball ring seems to have over the Tantus ring is that, with the 8 Ball ring, you get two rings versus the single ring that Tantus provides. You can always buy two of them, I suppose, but I like the integrated design of the 8 Ball ring. YMMV.

To round up the top six, we’ve got the cock cage, which isn’t even a cock ring; it’s a cock cage. Totally different product.

Whatever floats your boat, cuckold.

So, now that we’ve covered the contenders, let’s take a look at the champion: the 8 Ball ring by Rocks-Off.

The 8 Ball ring combines all that you want in a cock ring: it’s comfortable, durable, and relatively nonporous. Add stylish to that list and you’ve got a real winner.

Though, as I said, it was a little bit of a pain to figure out at first, once I got the 8 Ball ring on, I was exceptionally pleased by the comfort and overall feeling that wearing it gave me. The satin-like finish of the silicone doesn’t pull on your short & curly bits, yet it stays secure on your skin (even while covered in lube!)

The diameter of the rings are about 1/2″ wide, which spreads out the “squeeze” that the 8 Ball ring provides. After putting it on, it feels like a hand is firmly wrapped around your cock and balls. It’s awesome.

You may decide to wear the 8 Ball ring in a different fashion, but my recommendation is that you first slip your flaccid cock and balls through the larger ring, then put your shaft through the smaller ring, with their connection point on the top side of the shaft, near where the shaft meets your body. Like I said, YMMV, but I found this to be the best of all possible configurations.

So now I’m sure you’re saying to yourself, “great, sign me up!” Not so fast, chief. Unfortunately, the 8 Ball ring isn’t currently listed on Amazon in the US; that said, if you’re in the UK, you can purchase the 8 Ball ring from Amazon UK. Alternatively, you can purchase the 8 Ball ring directly from Rocks-Off here, though it may take longer than Amazon Prime would take to deliver, since Rocks-Off is based out of the UK.

One final note regarding the availability of the 8 Ball ring in the US

I really, really wish I could include a link to this on Amazon US, but nobody is currently selling it there, to my knowledge. If you find it on Amazon (US,) please let us know so we can link to it. It’s a great product, but I fear most people won’t bother to order it directly from Rocks-Off.
